Submission

Authors are invited to submit their papers to the workshop in pdf format. Submitted papers must be in pdf format. The length of camera-ready papers (if accepted) will be limited to 7 pages in IEEE format. Templates available here.

Papers must be submitted through the easychair system in the following link.

Papers must not have been previously published or currently submitted for publication elsewhere. The first page of the draft paper should include: title of the paper, name, affiliation and email address for each author. The first page should also identify the name of the Contact Author and a maximum of 5 topical keywords that would best represent the content of the paper.

Categories of papers

We encourage researchers to submit works in the following categories:

  • Regular Research Papers: Papers accepted in this category will be limited to 7 pages in IEEE-style format for publication in the conference proceedings.
  • Short Research Papers: Papers accepted in this category will be limited to 4 pages in IEEE-style format for publication in the conference proceedings.
  • Posters: Papers accepted in this category will be limited to 1 page in IEEE style format for publication in the conference proceedings. Additionally, the work will be presented during a poster session.

Review process

All the papers will be reviewed in terms of relevance to the aims of the workshop and technical content. Each paper will be reviewed by at least two indpendent reviewers. Camera-ready papers will be reviewed by the program commitee.

Publication

The conference proceedings/book will be published in printed form (with International Standard Book Number/ISBN). The proceedings will be available for distribution at the conference. The proceedings will be sent to all major Computer Science Bibliography and indexing databases for inclusion consideration (such as: DBLP, IEE Inspec, ...).

Journal publication

Past editions of the workshop led to special issues in the Journal of Supercomputing, where best papers were invited to submit extended versions that went through a new and independent review process.

As soon as we have confirmation of an special issue for SDMAS'09 we will announce it here.
