This course is a project-based course that presents the concepts, principles, issues, and techniques for managing design, development and analysis of complete real-world information systems.
Objectives
provide methodological fundamentals for the development of complete information system.
understand the technologies behind modern computer-integrated manufacturing systems.
apply the acquired knowledge for developing an information system project.
teach students how to develop an information system project focusing on the hardware and software integration in production and management environments.
follow a development methodology for information systems covering the necessary stages in the project development process, which include but not necessarily limited to setting overall priorities, generating ideas, design documentation, planning, testing and management.
